When Tom was just 10 months old, his family made Monroe County their permanent home, moving into a house in Tunkhannock Township that they had built a few years earlier.
Tom graduated from Pocono Mountain High School and then went away to college - attending University of Pittsburgh and graduating from Shepherd University in West Virginia.
After college, Tom spent a few years working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. before returning to Monroe County.
After returning, he worked as an independent consultant working for or managing several campaigns in Monroe County and across PA for candidates including Dr. Nche Zama for Governor, Dan Meuser for Congress, Mario Scavello for PA Senate, Bradford County Commissioner Doug McLinko and Monroe County Register/Recorder Josephine Ferro.
Tom has also worked several stints in the official offices of elected officials including working for Congressman Lou Barletta's Hazleton District Office, Rep. Doyle Heffley's Lehighton Office and in the Monroe County Register & Recorder's Office.
Tom has served in every level of government - federal, state and local. He serves on the board of the Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority and was elected as a Tunkhannock Township Auditor.
